Description

From Hopsteiner's breeding program, they say that Altus™ has changed the way they look at high alpha acid hop varieties that are usually more popular for bittering rather than flavor or aroma. With an alpha acid range fro 15.0 - 18.5, Altus retains a high oil content with notes of spicy tangerine, dank herbal qualities and grassy notes. Hopsteiner says the Altus hop works in anything from a Mexican Lager to a Triple IPA.
