Recipe kits designed by John Palmer, author of the books How to Brew, Brewing Classic Styles, and Brewing Water has designed a series of ingredient kits based on the recipes found in Brewing Classic Styles. All kits are designed to BJCP beer style guidelines for color, gravity, and flavor so they can easily be entered into brewing competitions. Because they are based on Briess DME they are shelf stable and the light beers come out light. Also featuring Artisan brand hops, Fermentis dried yeast, Briess specialty malt and enzymes and water modifiers when the recipe calls for it.
